What action is being taken to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 among students and staff?

Health and safety is always our highest priority. For this reason, we are implementing precautions so that we can create a highly safe environment for our students and staff. We will continue to evaluate our services along with guidelines issued by public health officials to ensure compliance and the safety of our customers and our community as a whole.

Hygiene

  • Constant disinfection of frequently used surfaces and equipment

  • UV light sterilization

  • Frequent handwashing and sanitization required for students and staff

  • Adults are required masks and gloves at all times

  • Personal protective materials are provided each child

Screening

  • Weekly COVID-19 testing for staff

  • Daily temperature & symptom checks for children & staff

  • Strict adherence to medical policy

  • Anyone who shows symptoms will not be allowed to work or attend camp that day

  • Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 will NOT be allowed to return to our facilities until they receive a "negative" test result

  • If any student or staff tests positive, all contacts will be traced and tested

Social Distancing

  • Contactless sign in and out process

  • Groups of up to 8 students + staff

  • Consistent groups to ensure feasibility of contact tracing

  • 6 feet apart as much as possible

  • Parents/non-essential visitors are not allowed in classrooms

  • Virtual communication with parents

  • Distance learning resources and activities will be provided

What happens if CAM Educational Services cancels a camp session?

In the event of cancellation, CAM Educational Services will provide a 100%  credit of the dollar amount paid. This credit may be used for any child in the affected camper’s immediate family, and does not expire.

In the event that cancellation occurs after the program starts, you will receive credit toward any future camps or services, adjusted to the number of sessions cancelled. There will be no refunds issued at this time.

What if my child gets sick and has to miss days?

For in-person camps operating in Summer 2020, the following policy will be in place for partial attendance/missed camp days due to illness: in the event a student cannot attend certain camp sessions due to illness, the student will receive a credit for unattended days. This credit can be used in summer 2020 or summer 2021.

Can I get a refund on any canceled or missed camp dates?

Due to the financial challenges brought on to small businesses due to COVID-19, we will only be able to offer credit for any canceled or missed camp dates. We sincerely apologize to our customers for this inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding and support.
